When Marissa first came to Emerald City Designs our team was ecstatic to work with her and bring this over-the-top Marie Antoinette style wedding to life! Marissa selected the perfect ruffled wedding dress that matched this theme flawlessly. For the bridal party floral Marissa’s bouquet had a loose design that was not perfectly round to keep it softer and more natural. As most of you know muted to pale pink was the perfect, if not the only, color appropriate for Marissa’s bouquet. Brandon, the groom, kept with Marissa’s bouquet color and wore a light pink boutonniere with spray roses and a touch of wax flower. To finish off the bridal party, the bridesmaids walked down the aisle holding a bouquet of all apple green hydrangeas while the groomsmen strutted their way to the alter with a sprig of green hypericum berries for a boutonniere. Once inside the ballroom guests were amazed by how decadent and lavish the room felt. Hydrangeas, amaranthus, bells of Ireland, calla lilies, roses, crystals and feathers were all used in the design of the guest table centerpieces. The different textures and colors created a one-of-a-kind beautiful arrangement. Custom and personalized stationery played a huge role in tying everything together. Kirsten Alana Photography did a wonderful job capturing this exquisite wedding.
