It's the Giving Season!
Our team spent a few days last week making special deliveries to some of the wonderful venues whom we work with in the Metro Detroit & Detroit Area. We sent sweet treats wrapped with ribbons and flowers with a special note to show all these teams how important they are to us and that we VALUE our relationship with each one of them. Here are a few photos to share our experience and what FUN we had traveling to these BEAUTIFUL venues!
We encourage all our friends, family, and followers to take a moment during this season to give back to the community where you live... Remember the reason of the season is to give and connect to others so we can all share in the joy of the holidays!
Some of our favorite charities include:
- A foundation created in the memory of Nicole Marie Burton, to provide celebration of life to children who have or are battling a life altering event. KIDSgala is dedicated to hosting events that will individually celebrate each child's achievements.
- Suite Dreams
The Suite Dreams Project is a unique and innovative program of the General Sports Foundation, a Michigan non-profit organization. Our focus is to serve children and families in low and moderate income, urban areas by transforming their bedrooms into beautiful healing spaces where they can rest and recover. The Suite Dreams Project utilizes the assistance of designers and volunteers to create these unique environments complete with healing elements specific to the needs of each sick child. We assist in obtaining any furniture, materials and equipment necessary to create the “suite” of each child’s dream.
- Operation Give
Operation Give works all year long to plan and organize its annual event. Our members work together to make sure that the event is dynamic, fun, memorable, and successful. In 2009, Operation Give made a pledge to the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation (CHMF) to donate at least $100,000 by 2011. We are happy to report that Operation Give exceeded that goal and to date has donated more than $250,000 to CHMF!
- Chrons Colitis
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D.
- American Heart Association
